Taking the Bait

When someone with bad breath starts a conversation and it hits your soul, so you pretend to take a call on your phone and hope they leave you alone. But they never do. Incredibly or deliberately. Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after. 

Beauty is the bait which with delight allures man to enlarge his kind. Which ultimately will lead to the fall of mankind. Do not bite at the bait of pleasure, till you’re sure there’s no hook beneath it. I jerk it every chance I get. You can call me a master baiter. 

People only get mad and defensive about certain topics when they know they’re guilty. Why are you getting heated in a debate about consent? I gave my father $100 and said, ‘Buy yourself something that will make your life easier.’ So he went and bought a present for my mother. 

Good things come to those who bait. I want to go fishing but I need somebody to put the worm on and take the fish off. Give a man a fish and he will have food for a day. Teach him to catch a fish and he will spend all day at the lake drinking beer and dancing salsa. 

A little bait catches a large fish. Guests, like fish, begin to smell after three days. I always leave passive-aggressive quotes on Facebook instead of being direct and honest. I really don’t want resolution anyway. I’m actually dedicated to watching the drama unfold. 

Real men don’t need luck. We have bait to catch big fish. Beginning now, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend them all the care, kindness, and understanding you can muster. Your life will never be the same again. When you fish for love…

bait with your heart, not your brain.
