The Importance of Giving

To get the full value of joy you must have someone to divide it with. Imagine how much happier you’d be if you gave away half of your salary every month. Since you get more joy out of giving joy to others, you should put a good deal of thought into the happiness that you’re able to give. Don’t bother dividing your salary into two halves, give me everything.

Giving is a master key to success, in all applications of human life. That’s why you can’t find any successful poor people, they have nothing to give. If it’s important, you will find a way. If it’s not, you will find an excuse. I have a great big book of excuses if you want to borrow. I don’t have it at the moment though. Whatever the challenge, just respond with, ‘it is well.’

There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up. I tried to carry the wife the other day and nearly had a heart attack. I can confirm that you can take this piece of advice only at your peril. It takes a lot of energy to be negative. You have to work at it. But smiling is painless. You should smile more often. It could make or ruin someone’s day. Worth it.

Reality of life. When you give importance to people, they think that you are always free. They don’t understand that you make yourself available every time. If this weren’t the case, why else would I get unsolicited video calls at 1 am? Are you battling demons sweetie? I’m trying to sleep! Starting tomorrow, video calls will be paid, starting at $6/minute.

The amount of time we give to something indicates it’s importance to us. Now, if you’re always on your phone, I’ve got really bad news for you. You might not know it yet, but for some, their phones are more valuable than family. The same applies to cooking. What’s more important to you? The time we spend together or my approval of your cooking? Think chef, think!

The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in. Unfortunately, a lot of parents are handicapped in this department forcing their children to seek adulterated forms of love outside. Fathers please love your daughters. It’s becoming embarrassing the things we see on these streets. When you realize your self worth, you’ll stop giving people discounts.

Only by giving can you receive more than you already have. Last week I gave out what was left of my savings to my immediate and extended family. If nothing happens by tomorrow, I’ll be in hot water. Literally. No one had ever become poor from giving until I came along. A history maker, if there ever was one. I’ve given so much in my time, it’s time you ungrateful lots gave back.

    Given that my time is worth so much to me and you too, I’m thinking $15/minute.
    There, I just came up with a way to earn enough for myself and future generation.

        So I’m with u on that one.

        Also wanna say kudos to u.
        You are always putting smiles on our faces and “Smiling is painless”. It indicates our importance. Keep it up man
