Nature’s Gift

People say you can’t live without love but I think oxygen is more important. How would the world react if it turned out that trees were actually harming us? Trees do harm us. They drop limbs onto roadways and houses. They also produce pollen which aggravates allergies. Does the good they do still outweigh the harm? Yes, toilet paper.

I think it’s time for old man Winter to get Mother Nature drunk, and have a little fun making Spring. Nature, she’s a bit of a show off, always putting on a colorful display for all to see. Camping is Nature’s way of promoting the motel business. Let us permit Nature to have her way. She understands her business better than we do. The goal of life is living in agreement with nature.

Get lost in nature and you will find yourself. I went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out until sundown. For going out, I found was really going in. We don’t inherit the earth from our ancestors. We borrow it from our children. A funny thing about human nature, nobody wonders why they have a healthy brother or a perfect child. Where flowers bloom, so does hope.

We are living on this planet like we have another place to go to. Go to heaven for the climate, hell for the company. It’s funny isn’t it? When you are young you just want to be old, and then later you wish you can go back to being a kid. Earth provides just enough to satisfy every man’s needs, but not every man’s greed.

Hiking is actually just walking, only on dirt or rocks, or on uneven surfaces. Or walking where an animal larger than you can kill and eat. There’s a demographic you never see on hiking expeditions. In hiking situations we all know who gets eaten on the one-off occasion. If you do find one, he’s probably the tour guide keeping a fair distance.

Whoever established the high road and how high it should be should be fired. Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt. Time spent among trees is never wasted time. Always hike with someone in worse shape than you. The bears out there will know. If you ever go hiking, bring a compass.

It’s awkward when you have to eat your friends.

  1. Whether it’s spending time by the sea and watching the waves, or being surrounded by trees, listening to the birds chirping and the cool breeze on your face, Nature indeed feels magical and has a way of reminding us of who we truly are.

  2. That’s quite a colorful analogy you got there! 😁 Indeed, oxygen is certainly more critical for survival than love, and while trees offer many benefits, there’s no denying that they can also pose some hazards. But just as nature is complex and ever-changing, so are the relationships between humans and the natural world. Your points about the dangers of fallen limbs and pollen are valid, but it’s crucial to remember that trees also provide us with clean air, absorb carbon dioxide, prevent erosion, and offer shade and shelter. It’s like a delicate dance of give and take, where the benefits often outweigh the risks.

  3. It’s a beautiful analogy. Reminds me of my days in school.. My school was located in one of the most interior part of akwaibom state. No constant light. Maybe once or twice a week and max 4hrs in a day. It taught me to know and how to enjoy nature.. There’s a particular sound you hear when the sun is out, and lots more. It’s amazing😁
