Dancing is like bank robbery, it takes split-second timing. My signature dance move is “the sit and nod”. If only you knew how many moves I could do in my head, you would respect me more. Started belly dancing today. Didn’t have to do much at all. Just gave it a little shake and belly danced all on it’s own.
When in doubt, dance it out. There should be room for breaking out into a little jig in an examination hall for much needed clarity. Life is better with friends and a good dance floor. I grew up in a full house. That’s how I learned how to dance – waiting to use the bathroom. I’m not clumsy, I’m just dancing with the floor.

When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. It’s to enjoy each step along the way before you inevitably end up on the floor. Dancing with friends is like magical rollercoaster ride – full of twists, turns, and lots of screaming…mostly from laughter! Keep calm and Zumba!
We’re fools whether we dance or not. So we may as well dance. Forget conservative dancing. Dance like there’s no one watching. Dance like a toddler, they don’t even care if there’s music. Dance teachers be like 5-6-7-8, BOOM, BOOM KA KA, BOOM, HIT, BOOM-TURN, TICK TACK, HIT. I don’t know the lyrics.
Dancing is a perpendicular expression of horizontal desire. If you stumble, make it part of the dance. Wives are people who feel they don’t dance enough. The wife picked up dancing and her major problem is kicking every piece of furniture in the living room whilst trying to go full-out in Zoom class.
Those who can’t dance say the music is no good. And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music. Dance like no one is watching. Because they’re not. They’re checking their phones. And that’s what’s wrong with today’s society. Sorry I missed your call, I was dancing to my ringtone.
Never ever let them know your next dance move.

This article beautifully captures why dancing is pure joy-whether it’s for self-expression, stress relief, or just moving to your favorite beat. It’s a powerful reminder that sometimes, all you need is music and a little rhythm.
