The Flame of Love

Never let an old flame burn you twice. I will take what is mine with fire and blood. Build a man a fire and he will be warm for the night. Set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life. If you have an opinion about my life, please raise your hand. Now put it over your mouth.

I’m such a good cook, even the fire alarm cheers me on. Everyone has their fire, but the champion knows when to light the fire. Set your life on fire, seek those who fan your flames. Fire in the heart sends smoke into the head. Blow trees and forget about tradition. Tradition is just peer pressure from dead people.

Cremation. My last hope for a smoking hot body. The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled. I hate double standards. Burn a body at a Crematorium, you’re “being a respectful friend.” Do it at home and you’re “destroying evidence.” Talent is a flame. Genius is a fire.

Fire bender. When tempted to fight fire with fire, remember that the Fire Department usually uses water. As you get older, though, you realize there are fire extinguishers. You do have an ability to control the flames. I was taught to think before I act. So if I punch you, rest assured it was a fire thought.

Trust yourself. In everyone’s life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement. When life gives you a dumpster fire, roast marshmallows.

You can tell it’s good if you light it and a blue flame comes up. Some say the world will end in fire, some say in ice. From what I’ve tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if I had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate to say that for destruction, Ice is great and would suffice. Yes I know there’s a special place in hell for me.

It’s called a throne.
