Overwhelming

Life has many ways of testing a person’s will, either by having nothing happen at all or by having everything happen at once. Apart from overwhelming anxiety and debilitating panic attacks, I think I’m pretty well adjusted. Sometimes the most important thing in a whole day is the rest taken between two deep breaths.

I know God will not give me anything I can’t handle. I just wish he didn’t trust me so much. The weapons fashioned against me have been really prospering lately. In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people angry and is widely considered a bad move. I’m stressing at home today, I have mood poisoning.

There can’t be a stressful crisis this week. My schedule is already full of them. My brain is like an Internet browser. 17 tabs are open, 9 of them are not responding. I am experiencing thousands of pop-ups, redirects and where is that loud music coming from? My secret is that I try to keep work-life balance by being equally overwhelmed at home and work.

When work feels overwhelming, remember that you’re going to die. When you ask me what I’m doing today, and I say “nothing”, it does not mean that I am free. It means I am doing nothing. My stress stresses me out to the point where I’m too stressed to deal with my stress and talking about how stressed I am is so stressful right now.

I try to take one day at a time but several days have attacked me at once. So far you’ve survived 100% of your worst days, you’re doing great. You don’t have to see the whole staircase to take the first step. This doesn’t mean you stop paying attention altogether, unless you’re suicidal then by all means throw in a blindfold.

Looking at my ToDo list makes me want to take a nap. When life gets hectic and you feel overwhelmed, curl up in a ball and fall asleep. Alternatively, you can take a moment to focus on the people and things you’re most grateful for. When you have an attitude of gratitude, frustrating troubles will fall by the wayside.

Doesn’t mean they’re gone though.

  1. When stress tries to cloud your day, let me take it all away

In my arms, find your rest, Let me soothe your worried chest

Your peace means the world to me, So lean on love, and you’ll see

Together we’ll make it through, Because my heart beats for you.
