Waiting for a Miracle

A miracle isn’t one big event you’re waiting to happen. You witness a million little ones every day without even realizing it. Making a hundred friends is not a miracle. The miracle is to make a single friend who will stand by your side even when hundreds are against you.

Don’t wait for a miracle, be a miracle. Miracles are always waiting to be found. Don’t sit and wait. Get up and find your miracle. People are funny. They want the front of the bus, the middle of the road and the back of the church. I’m a Project Manager, not a miracle worker but I see how I could have confused you.

Behind every fear, there’s a miracle waiting. Faith is believing in things when common sense tells you not to. The funny thing about miracles is that they happen every day. Staying in love for more than 5 years is almost impossible. Staying in love with the same person for the rest of your life is a miracle.

Many people are alive but don’t touch the miracle of being alive. Cupcakes are muffins that believe in miracles. People at work often call me a miracle worker, because it takes a miracle to get me to do something. A Christmas miracle is when your family doesn’t get into a single argument all day.

It is possible that a miracle was not something that happened to you, but rather something that didn’t. A gentle word, a kind look, and a good-natured smile can work wonders and accomplish miracles. I’m on that new diet where you eat anything you want and you pray for a miracle.

Miracles are like meatballs because nobody can exactly agree on what they are made of, where they come from, or how often they should appear. If it’s free, it’s advice; if you can pay for it, it’s counselling; if you can use either one, it’s a miracle. Loving ourselves works miracles in our lives.

A miracle is coming especially for you this weekend. Type “YES” to receive. (The last three people who got this message and didn’t type yes died on the spot)
