First Impressions

First impressions matter. You only get one chance to make a first impression. A good first impression can work wonders. I am a leader not a follower. Unless it’s dark, then you’re going first. Never ignore a gut feeling, but never believe that it is enough. 

The first time I sees jogger smiling, I’ll consider it. I had a mind once but kept giving people a piece of it and now it’s all gone. My first love was a calculator. We had a complex relationship but are least unlike with humans, it was always adding up. 

A good impression is great but a bad impression is even better. I always regret making a good first impression because there is no way I can keep this shit up. Now the bar is so high you’re expecting highly intellectual conversations even when I want to fool around. 

Experts say we size up new people in somewhere between thirty seconds and two minutes. Personally I only need two seconds from when you open your mouth. If I can see plaque, I know you’re bad for me. If you don’t care for your teeth, why would you care for me?

You never get a second chance to make a first impression. First impressions are important. While a book should not be judged by its cover, many people are unlikely to read it if the cover is not inviting. Doesn’t help that TikTok has reduced us to fish brains. 

Almost everyone will make a good first impression, but only a few will make a good lasting impression. Your smile is your logo. Your personality is your business card. How you leave others feeling after an interaction becomes your trademark. 

First impressions last. Get it?
