Missing the point

If you’re only moved by color relationships, you’re missing the point. I am interested in expressing the big emotions – tragedy, ecstasy, doom. I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member. This looks like a “no thanks” to me. I appreciate the gesture though.

It’s okay to disagree with me. I can’t force you to be right. I’m not insulting you. I’m describing you. Resting is part of the process, even if it’s not part of the plan. There are no bad pictures, that’s just how your face looks sometimes. Get a grip.

People who wonder whether the glass is half empty or half full are missing the point. The glass is refillable. If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun. Give yourself a gift; the present moment. You only live once. But if you do it right, once is enough.

You know that point at your graduation ceremony where everyone tosses up their caps? Isn’t it great that we celebrate how SMART we are by throwing sharp pointy objects in the air? We’re all dressed in identical caps and gowns but “individuality” is the key to success.

When we’re on a mission for perfection we miss the point. Love is a two way street constantly under construction. If you can’t be kind, at least be vague. You left and now I’m like a meme without a caption. Senseless and incomplete.

You are the person I’ll never stop looking for in a crowded place. I want to write “I miss you” on a rock and throw it at your face so you know how much it hurts to miss you. I miss you like an idiot misses the point. And if you cry at my funeral…

I’ll never speak to you again.
