How To Avoid A Dip

Academics. To be a good professional, always start to study late for exams. You learn two things in the process. How to manage time, and how to cope with emergencies. Here’s the attitude you need to have going into examinations. If they give you questions you don’t know, respond by giving them answers they don’t know. Good luck passing the exam and my deepest early condolences if you don’t.

Don’t buy. “Buy the dip, buy the dip” don’t listen. That’s the voice of Satan. If you hear those words around you, banish the individual responsible from your presence. There’s a reason why the first three letters in crypto form the word cry. Because that’s all you’ll be doing my friend. My advice to you is to pick up your laptop and keep doing that office work. You don’t want a double whammy which involves getting you fired from work too.

Relationships. The things that will kill your relationships could be any or all of the above. Insecurity, trust issues, jealousy, lack of communication and assumptions. Which is why I only date men. If you want a relationship that looks and feels like the most amazing thing on earth, put a diamond on her finger. Scratch that, just talk about your problems with your partner and figure things out. In truth though, Relationships are like fat people, most of them don’t work out.

A healthy mind. I have mixed drinks about my feelings. You see, alcohol doesn’t cause hangovers. Waking up does. We can put a man on the moon, another on Mars but we still haven’t figured out how to prevent a hangover? Priorities people… come on! In truth, having a healthy mind is just as important as a healthy body. It’s not selfish to love yourself, take care of yourself, and to make your happiness a priority. It’s necessary.

Concentration. When you focus on problems, you’ll have more problems. And this is why you never try to repair every issue with your car at once. When you focus on possibilities, you’ll have more opportunities. Suddenly you realize that you can drive perfectly without a side mirror. Who needs to see the trailer sneaking up on you from behind anyways? Don’t dissipate your powers my friend, try to concentrate them. It’s how superheroes are born. In marvel and DC.

Post-lunch. The post-lunch dip is a real phenomenon that can occur even when the individual has had no lunch and is unaware of the time of day. In simpler terms it is a dip that occurs when your performance dips in the afternoon. If you’re like me and your brain shuts down at 1pm, then there’s your answer. You are simply a morning person. That means you have to get all your meaningful work out of the way between the hours of 6am and 12 noon.

Spiritually. I am at a place in life where peace is priority. I deliberately avoid certain people (yes, you Charles) to protect my mental, emotional and spiritual state. Wisdom comes from experience. Experience is often a result of lack of wisdom. Your life only gets better when you do. Work on yourself and the rest will follow. People who wonder whether the glass is half empty or half full are missing the point.

  1. You and your awkward sense of humor. A neurologist needs to assess the framework in that brain of yours. Not sure it’s the regular one found in other humans🤣🤣🤣. I come in peace ✌

  3. Finding it hard to decide my favorite paragraph. Every paragraph is so beautifully crafted to depict the most profound truths. Thanks for this.
