You can never come too close for comfort. Once you’re comfortable with the way you dress, you express yourself a lot more, and you’re able to have a lot more fun. When it comes to wearing clothes, I spent so much of my life optimizing for comfort over style. You can imagine my surprise discovering the outcome is that I dress like a lesbian. A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval. I approve myself.
Misery loves company. Be willing to be uncomfortable. You have to be comfortable being uncomfortable. It may get tough, but it’s a small price to pay for living a dream. The more you seek the uncomfortable, the more you will become comfortable. Women need a reason to have sex, men just need a place. A couple wore deer costumes and went frolicking in the forests. Unfortunately, they ‘accidentally’ got shot by a hunter. It’s me, I’m the hunter.

Skin. When you are comfortable in your own skin, not everyone will like you, but you won’t care about it one bit! If you’re comfortable with yourself, then you’ll look beautiful. If you’re not feeling comfortable with yourself, then that kind of shows. You start to look like Shrek on a random Tuesday afternoon. Luxury must be comfortable, otherwise, it is not luxury. I mean if anyone is comfortable being famous, they’re a psychopath. Tells you everything about me.
Attention. The quickest way for a parent to get a child’s attention is to sit down and look comfortable. The kid suddenly wants to be carried, fed, bathed and sang to. My mission is to kill time, and time’s to kill me in its turn. How comfortable one is among murderers. There are 30,000 days in your life. When I was 24, I realized I was almost 9,000 days down. In life, there are no warm-ups, no practice rounds, and no reset buttons. Your biggest risk isn’t failing, it’s getting too comfortable.
Smile. Your smile will give you a positive countenance that will make people feel comfortable around you. I know looks aren’t everything but you should have them just in case. I always ask myself, would I want someone to do something that wasn’t comfortable for them just to please me? The answer is no. Do not jump through hoops for me, you’re not making my life easier. Don’t buy me expensive birthday gifts either. What am I supposed to do on your birthday? Rob a bank?
Love. When someone loves you, the way they talk about you is different. You feel safe and comfortable. If you can’t leave your partner with your friends for five minutes for fear of what they would say about you, I’m afraid you’re single. Why can’t love be comfortable? Why is it that anytime someone is describing love it involves a lot of blood, sweat and tears? Why do people have to prove their love to you? How are you making decisions on whether to love a person based on what they have done or could do for you? Isn’t that selfish reasoning? Yes, I’m talking to the women.
Naked. I think the highest form of comfort is walking naked around your house. Doesn’t help if you have nosey neighbours though. Imagine getting the cops called on you for being naked in your own apartment? Women enjoy being naked. They don’t mind being naked in front of their friends. Men on the other hand, are a lot less inclined to embrace that idea. Get naked in front of your guy friends and start prancing around. It wouldn’t be a surprise if they lynch you. You basically asked for it.
Too close for comfort

I am comfortable with myself now that I am old. it is hard to be comfortable with yourself and not become too comfortable with your life.

I’m trying to read a deeper meaning into all of this Molly. Are you saying old age comes with comfort?

I think you get more comfortable with yourself as you age. Of course, that opinion is based on my experience.v

I’ll be taking your word for it 😅

you shouldn’t. I could be a big, fat liar pulling the wool over your eyes. Then, when you get old you will know I didn’t know what I was talking about.

I’ll be old already. It wouldn’t matter 😅

You live only once.
That’s a reason to relax, and also a reason not to.

It is the way the world has become, I think it is because we all hide behind a screen. When face to face with a real person. You become vulnerable. No one likes to be vulnerable.

I don’t mind being vulnerable. Don’t just make me prove myself to you. Life is hard enough as it is.

It’s fragile masculinity at play I think. Plus slight homophobia. We’re taught to only remove our clothes for special exercises 🌚

Yep, it most likely is.
Special exercises? Wonder what that could be🤔😅

I am actually super in love with this I’m going to be sharing to one of my dearest friends she needs to hear this. It even hits close to home within my personal life I love when you write these types of things they are incredibly relatable.

I don’t think anyone realizes how much alike they are to most people around them. It don’t matter what part of the globe your from we all! Have the very same issues within life. To me it’s personally reassuring sometimes I think I am the only one going through something. Even with my kids I feel omg why is this my kid or why I feel this is a me problem. So when I do hear even the most stable people around me say what they struggle with. It really does offer a sense of comfort i am not alone in this world I feel we often think we walk through things alone but in reality it’s millions to thousands going through that same thing we just don’t see or hear of it.

Yeah, it’s one of the perks of social media. Creating communities of people with similar interests/traumas and providing adequate support/feedback/coping mechanism tips

Yes! Exactly I really want to do a couple of blogs break them down so it’s not overload of information. Mainly focus on BPD and psychotherapy!. It’s something I’m in and I have I see so many people with so many questions just on how someone of that kind can live a fully functional life. I get how it can be not so functional life it’s more struggles then anything.
