Being fooled does not make you a fool. You only become a fool when you continuously fall for the same shit. You are responsible for your life. You can’t keep blaming someone else for your dysfunction. Life is really about moving on. It’s your fault you’re stagnant.

The only games that should be played in a relationship are in the bedroom. If I cut you off, chances are, you handed me the scissors. Fear is a trick that’s being played on you. Don’t fall for it. Walk directly into it. Why are you so worried you won’t function without them? Of course you can, and you will. You little wimp!

Your heart is not a playground. Let them go and play somewhere else. You’re not a backup plan and definitely not a second chance. They’re not reaching out because they’ve suddenly realized your worth. It’s only to check if you’re still available for another pointless rollercoaster ride. I’m embarrassed for you.

You shouldn’t play hard to get. You should be hard to get. Sometimes you gotta care less to see if they will care more. Refuse to subject yourself to their mind games and lies. Don’t play a part in their constant drama. Refuse to be controlled and manipulated. Take your life back! If anybody is going to ruin your life, it should be you!

Don’t make a fool of yourself being faithful to someone who’s playing you. You’re not being the bigger person, you’re being the bigger fool. Stop playing victim in situations you’ve created and then flip the story to manipulate people to think your innocent. Wake up, you’ve pooped yourself!

I heard you’re a player, nice to meet you. To my left is your coach and for me, well, let’s just say I own the club. Play before you get played. Leave before you’re left. I’m not a player, but I’m player made, keep a few player ways so I don’t get played. The only way to beat the system is to become it. Relationship VAR.

Don’t play hard to get. Play hard to forget. Sometimes you just have to play the role of a fool to fool the fool who thinks they are fooling you. Don’t play with a woman’s heart, why mislead a good woman if you know you’re not going to love her the way she deserves to be loved? Haha, who am I kidding? Of course they deserve it.

Women are not good people.

      2. Oooh, as my mother said looking up and seeing the angel of death. The penny dropped. It’s bloody perfect. There is a person I was off to share it with but, then, there’s that last line.
        “Auts” over think everything. Is this a joke? Will she get it? Bla bla bla. However, upon reflection, I agree. Woman are not (all) good people.
        It’s like saying all Nigerians are not drug dealers. Not all men are pedophiles. Not all white people are racists. South Africa is dead safe. The dead, that is, are safe.
        I think I will risk sharing it. I’ll disconnect the phone and read a Koonz book to scare myself further.
        In my next life I want to be Anna with shocking blue eyes. I shall say, “Do you want to play?”. May the force be with players. I’m on the short list for reincarnation. Karma is hiring.
        Much love. I’m old. No one wants to play with me. Not that my age has ever been a drawback or an advantage. I was gorgeous. I’m still gorgeous, but being an aunt has complicated the rules of the game. Luckily my children were listening. God knows they have angels. They do not stand for being played. I’m a flipping push over, I conclude. How I didn’t break a leg, I don’t know.
