In Dependence

I can be as high maintenance as I want because no one pays my bills except me. You are dependent if you allow the weakness of other people ruin your emotional life. I’ve never said, ‘I want to be alone.’ I only said, ‘I want to be let alone!’ There is a difference.

In America, anyone can become President, and that’s the problem. Love can make you dependent on someone else for your happiness. What we see depends mainly on what we look for. Don’t let your happiness depend on something you may lose. Shame because I often make light of my chemical dependence on caffeine.

I prefer to earn it. It makes me appreciate it more. True happiness is to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future. The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.

May we think of freedom, not as a right to do as we please, but as the opportunity to do what is right. A man without a woman is called a bachelor. A woman without a man is called a genius. Getting into a relationship may seem like a good idea but so was getting on the titanic and look what happened there.

We are all dependent on one another, every soul of us on earth. You don’t get rid of yesterday by talking about it all of the time. You get rid of its effect by moving forward. The greatest gifts you can give your children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence. Then clip them.

I am a recovering person pleaser. Is that okay? A motorcycle is an independent thing. Isn’t it funny how red, white and blue represent freedom until they’re flashing behind you. I’m not good at the advice. Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment? If a man is talking in the forest, and no woman is there to hear him…

Is he still wrong?

            As Ironically It Starts With Words Yes Barrier Islands That

            May Materially Reduce Reality into Abstract Concepts

            Heaven Within 

            A Child’s Eyes Before
            Speaking Warm And True

            Yet Words Come in Tethered to  School And

            And Anxiety Deepest Among the Generation That Used

            Other than That The Emerald Green Gulf Cost

  7. Great post. I like the line “become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.” But then again we live in America where the motto is “I want to be Unique, As long as I’m doing it the same way as everyone else” 🤣😎🙃
