Take Flight

If you want to fly, give up everything that weighs you down. A peacock has too little in his head and too much in his tail. Birds of a feather flock together, and so will pigs and swine. Rats and mice will have their choice, and so will I have mine. Faith is the bird that feels the light when the dawn is still dark.

The early bird gets a choice which, to me, is more important than the worm itself. A well balanced sense of humor is the pole that adds balance to your steps as you walk the tightrope of life. One minute you’re young and cool, the next you’re excited about birds eating from your bird feeder.

If I were a bird, I know who I’d shit on. I don’t always go birding, but when I do, the birds always hide. Only birds have the ability to be excited at 5 AM. No man goes before his time…unless the boss leaves early. Sometimes the early bird gets the worm, but sometimes the early bird gets frozen to death.

Hard work never killed anybody, but why take a chance? Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude (and your mouth shut) while waiting. Easily distracted by…hold on…there’s a bird. It’s funny how we give meaning to the chirping of birds and, in turn, silence human beings. Life is a song. Sing it.

What’s the difference between bird flu and swine flu? One requires tweetment and the other requires oinkment. Birds aren’t like dogs or cats. They’re more like bipolar toddlers on crack. In spring birds return from their tropical vacation. Six months later, they regret their decision and go back.

When you own a bird, happiness is all around you. A bird in hand is worth two in the bush. I spent a lot of money on tea, birds and fast cars. The rest I squandered. You haven’t truly mastered multitasking unless you’re a parrot. It’s a chatter, a mimic and a gymnast. If you get called a parrot, believe me…

It’s a compliment.

    Get Everything Hand Delivered on a Trumpian
