A large group of people is called “No thanks”. People are scared of getting fined for congregating in crowds. As if catching a deadly disease and dying a horrible death wasn’t enough of a deterrent. Only dead fish go with the flow.
A man who wants to lead an orchestra must turn his back on the crowd. I’m rarely bored alone; I am often bored in groups and crowds. Go the extra mile, it’s never crowded. Those who follow the crowd usually get lost in it with no lunch.
Don’t follow the crowd. The crowd doesn’t get there. They just run round and around in a crazy race. It never ends. Once I’m on a stage, the energy from the crowd wipes my nerves away. I’m unfazed because they’re scared to do what I do.
Always remember that the crowd that applauds your coronation is the same crowd that will applaud your beheading. People like a show. Don’t give them one. Be careful when you blindly follow the Masses…sometimes the “M” is silent.
Avoid those who seek constant crowds, they are nothing alone. I don’t like holidays. I don’t like crowds of people. In fact, I don’t like people. I don’t like noise. I think the reward for conformity is that everybody likes you except yourself.
You’ll never walk alone. It is better to walk alone than to follow a crowd going in the wrong direction. Instead, band together with some friends and move in a particular direction, one direction. It takes nothing to join the crowd.
It takes everything to stand alone.

lmao there was this episode of The Good Doctor where a girl’s heart grew outside her ribcage so she couldn’t be outside or even hugged, they were going to do surgery to fix it and she said the one thing she couldn’t wait for was to be in a crowd 😭

I love crowds as much as I love Lagos traffic, which is to say, not at all🚶. And that part about the crowd wishing they were you? Gold. They’re just scared to be in the spotlight…. or NOT🤔🙃?

Lonely on a crowd. Makes perfect good sense because when you’re in a crowd, time with yourself gets crowded out.
