My bed is a place where I suddenly remember everything I forgot to do. It is also the place where I make lofty plans to attack the next day with vim. Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you’re doing the impossible.
One day you’re 18 eating cereal every day for lunch, then suddenly you’re 30 and wondering if “lunch” was merely a rumor started by your imagination. Funny, how when you think life can’t possibly get any worse and it suddenly does. Like you dared it.
Crazy moment. When you suddenly laugh because you remember something funny and then realize that strangers are looking at you weirdly (why the hell is he chuckling to himself) and immediately you change your expression to a serious one. Cold blooded.
Like a welcome summer rain, humor may suddenly cleanse and cool the earth, the air and you. Before you marry a person, you should make them use a computer with really slow internet to show who they really are. Real ones will play the T-Rex game.
It’s funny how things feel different, suddenly. Nothing spoils a good story like the arrival of an eye witness. They really just take all the joy out of storytelling. It can’t be a good story if some truths aren’t exaggerated and grossly overstated. It’s art.
Do you ever shift in bed slightly and suddenly you’re in the most perfect sleeping position ever and you feel like the planets are aligned? It’s the exact same feeling when you’re about to die after ignoring everyone else and leaving everything in your Will to the cat.
