Authenticity

Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who you think you’re supposed to be, and embracing who you are. It’s okay to admit that you’re a thief. Authenticity is about imperfection. If you ever want to be entertained, sit back and watch the audacity of others.

What you know matters, but who you are matters more.  Truth is a point of view, but authenticity can’t be faked. I’d rather be labeled as fake for being real, than be praised as real for being fake. The older you get, the more attractive authenticity becomes. You’re just childish.

The most authentic thing about us is our capacity to create, to overcome, to transform, to love and to be greater than our suffering. I have to be successful because I like expensive things. And if you’re waiting for me to give a shit, pack a big lunch because its going to be a while.

No legacy is so rich as honesty; is something I would say when I become rich. All it takes is one risk taker, authentic to his true crime nature, to rewrite the course of the history for generations. When you show up authentic, you create space for others to do the same. Walk in your truth or crime.

The inner voice has both gentleness and clarity. Clarity without the need for nuts. To get authenticity, you really keep going down the bone, to the honesty, and the inevitability of something. You and I can both agree that posting on your WhatsApp status is attention seeking.

Details matter. They create depth, and depth creates authenticity. An authentic path may take forever but the moves and impact are forever legendary. Don’t make yourself small for anyone. Be the awkward, funny, intelligent, beautiful weirdo that you are. Don’t hold back!

Weird it out.
