Fruity Life

A life without love is like a tree without fruit. Every time you eat a fruit for the first time that year you need to make a wish. When life gives you lemons, squeeze them in people’s eyes. The key to life is to drink water, eat fruits and mind your own business.

I was telling a friend about the health benefits of eating dried fruits recently. It’s really all about raisin awareness. Why do watermelons have fancy weddings? Because they cantaloupe. Why do bananas always win in gymnastics? Nobody can beat them when it comes to doing splits.

I like fruit baskets because it gives you the ability to deliver to someone a piece of fruit without appearing insane. Like, if someone had an apple delivered to your doorstep you’d be like, ‘Huh? What the hell is this?’ But if it’s a fruit basket, you’re like, ‘Oh, this is nice!’

Knowledge is knowing that tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is knowing not to put it in fruit salad. Pick your friends like you pick your fruit. Don’t swear off all fruits because you ate one bad apple. Honestly, life was much easier when Apple and BlackBerry were just fruits.

An apple a day keeps anyone away if you throw it hard enough. An apple looks like a human heart. A mango has the shape of a stomach. Grapes look like eye balls. Now do for a banana? You look like someone who eats bananas for the shape not the taste.

Love is a fruit in season at all times. If you were a fruit, you’d be a fine-apple. You’re my main squeeze. I’m beginning to think I’ve fallen for you. It happened right before my berry eyes. It feels like you’ve got a peach of my heart. I’m so grapeful for you!

You’re one in a melon.
