Third Eye

Everyone has two eyes but no one has the same view. What an old man sees lying down, a young man can also see on his phone because he has google. It’s no use going back to yesterday, you were a different person then. The purpose of life is not to be happy.

It is to be useful and make a difference.  In real life, I assure you. There is no such thing as algebra. Learning is about seeing things from a different perspective. My role is to help people improve their vision. By my third punch you’ll be pretty aware that you’re in soup.

In order to see things differently, sometimes you need to see different things. Shift happens when we see simple look at things differently. Shit happens the more opposed to change you remain. Flip a coin. When it’s in the air, you know which side you were hoping for.

Looking and seeing are two different things. People who are raised on love see things differently than those who are raised on survival. You see things differently when you see you can rely on love. Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.

Equality is not in regarding things similarly, equality is in regarding different things differently. Any painful experience makes you see things differently. It also reminds you of the simple truths that we purposefully forget every day or else we would never get out of bed.

Never limit yourself to just one point of view. I hope that when you see things you could have handled differently in hindsight, you can also see the version of yourself that was doing the best they could with what they knew at the time. The more things change.

The more they stay the same.

  1. Yeah, instead of having regrets about how you reacted in the past, remember that you acted based on what you understood at the time. Be gracious to yourself. Thanks for this.
