Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. We experience moments absolutely free from worry. These brief respites are called panic. There is no panic like trying to press “end call” when you accidentally dial someone.
I think I’m prone to panic. Now that I’m advanced in age, I’ve come to a realization. I have known many troubles but most of them never actually happened. Sometimes I panic and think there’s a crazy person in my house, then I realize it’s just me. Then I panic again.

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by. There cannot be a crisis this week. My schedule is already full. You’re either in constant panic worrying about every single detail or you surrender to “it is what it is”Always choose the latter.
One advantage of talking to yourself is that you know at least somebody’s listening. If you’re married, it becomes two as she can hear you mutter under your breath. Panic attacks are just fun little reminders that every decision you’ve ever made has been wrong. Especially her.
Our phones fall, we panic. Our friends fall and cry, we laugh. This one time I attempted to roll over on my bed and suddenly heard a crack. I found myself hoping it was a fractured bone and not the new iphone I had just got. The time to relax is when you don’t have time for it.
Worry is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do but never gets you anywhere. Don’t assume a person is weak because they get panic attacks. It takes a lot of effort to get out of bed every day to face the world. And not all wounds are visible. Some people are cracked.
If at first you don’t succeed, find out if the loser gets anything.
