In Gratitude

The people you sacrifice everything for will one day tell you, they never forced you to do anything for them. And they’ll be right. Nobody asked you to do all that. There are many things in life to be thankful for, so don’t let one ungrateful individual ruin your entire week.

Some people are so ungrateful it’s like feeding a stray cat. No matter how much you give, they’ll always hiss at you. It has been said that the sin of ingratitude is more serious than the sin of revenge. With revenge, we return evil for evil, but with ingratitude, we return evil for good.

Ingratitude is treason to mankind. People will always notice the change in your attitude towards them. But they will never notice it’s their behavior which made you change. I have too many flaws to be perfect. But I have too many blessings to be ungrateful.

No one gets any pleasure from giving to an ungrateful person. When you show appreciation, the object of your attention blossoms and flourishes. For the ungrateful, if they found a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, they’d complain about the weight of the pot.

Ungrateful people breed negativity. Learn to appreciate what you have before time makes you appreciate what you had. Don’t invest your time into people who think it’s your obligation to cure their ills. Even if they’re five and seven respectively. They should fend for themselves!

True generosity means accepting ingratitude. Friendship is the medicine for all misfortune but ingratitude dries up the fountain of all goodness. I stopped explaining myself when I realized people only understand from their level of perception. One ungrateful woman injures all who need assistance.

Even the greatest kindness will not bind the ungrateful.
