The Nothingness of Nothing

You’ve come into the world with nothing and the purpose of your life is to make something out of nothing. Doing nothing is very hard to do, you never know when you’re finished. There’s nothing funny about happy people. I don’t know, you just look at a situation or a life, and you kind of pick the areas of conflict and delve there, because that’s where the story is. If someone has been married for 20 years, that’s great, but it’s not that funny. Now if you had two ex-wives, you see there’s already a story there.

I finally discovered what’s wrong with my brain. On the left side, there’s nothing right, and on the right side, there is nothing left. When you ask me what I am doing today and I say “nothing” it does not mean that I am free. It means I am doing nothing. Yesterday I did nothing, and today I’m finishing what I did yesterday. I have tried to know absolutely nothing about a great many things, and I have succeeded fairly well. The trouble with some women is that they get all excited about nothing, and then they marry him. And that’s why my brand advertisement of myself is “I will bore you to death.”

What’s the point of it all? Not to sound suicidal, but I don’t see the essence of life. All this stress and we end up dying one day. Why? Why did we even have to live in the first place? The big man up there put us in a world of sin to prove ourselves worthy of heaven when we could all just remain there and be singing hallelujah with Gabriel and the other Angels every day. I didn’t even ask to be here, why would you bring me here without my permission and force me to take care of myself after a certain period.

Honestly, I feel violated. Why did no one ask for my opinion before pushing me into existence? People usually say they want to be better in their next world. Or still, meet their families or friends. But I really don’t want a next world. I want to rest, please. Human existence is nothing but a Cosmic Joke; a long road that leads to nowhere. Life is full of suffering, sorrow, and then Death! As humans we have been brainwashed into living in a time that isn’t here, we all feel this way because we spend all our time.

Sometimes I fear my unborn kids will ask these questions. And I’d have no answer because I have the same questions in my head. Hence, I get skeptical about birthing children. “There has to be more to life,” says a man that’s only being here for about 280,000 years on a planet that’s 4.6 billion years, existing in a universe that’s 14 billion years old. I wonder if the dinosaurs had thoughts like these 65 million years ago before going extinct. There are a lot of unanswered questions.

Nothing matters. We are all cockroaches. Wildbeats dying by the river bank. Dog eat dog. Nothing we do has any lasting meaning. What we do lives and dies out with the people around us. Why bother making an impact? I have noticed that even people who claim everything is predetermined and that we can do nothing to change it look before they cross the road. Rabbits jump and they live for 8 years. Dogs run and they live for 15 years. Turtles do nothing and they live for 150 years.

  1. It. Does seem pointless at times. Staying with the angles might get boring. Turtles live longer because they rest between steps. The best life would be to come here as a turtle.

  2. Turtles 🐒 contemplate life at a slower pace looking and proceeds with caution it’s back is tough, unlike the hare which runs at crazy high speed, never thinking he’ll burn himself out, then get hit by a car because he doesn’t stop to look. 😎

  3. Turtles. And, the Tortoise always wins. Experiences every step of the way, while the Hare all manic n stuff Pachinko balls around everywhere experiencing nothing but next next next in a false sense of urgency. And, the tortoise, foot raised over some thick white line and ribbon over the road, fascinated with this swath of finish line paraphenlia smiles… turns its head up to the Hare all bouncing around β€œwinning” and, β€œHey Hare! What’s this?” The Hare, all a sudden aware that the Tortoise is about to win riles up to rocket to the … and the Tortoise says, β€œJust kidding.” STOMP. WINNER! And, continues its 150-year saunter down the road, then off the road to the good stuff and lives an and and and while Hare stays just outside the place of triage.

My dog turned to me yesterday and seemed to say, β€œYeah Yeah, your 2020 was your best year on record. You NEVER leave the house for long. How am I supposed to set up a party that way? Geez. Thanks, Man. This past year has been the longest 7 years of my life. WOOF.”

      1. :), I would, though SHE is a 125-pound German Shepherd with-some-wolf/or Malinois mix rescue. She’s 12 1/2, so her friends would be Yoda age, except for the intern Jedi-s. So, they wouldn’t break much of anything… until I got near the door, they felt my return in the force, and dropped everything in the house that they had been levitating… probably everything. Lol. Leaving the house is a double-edged sword. Maybe I’ll cut my losses and order her food from Chewy. πŸ˜‰

  4. LOL. You make me laugh. The turtles not only live 150 years, but also win the race against the rabbits. Not only win the race, they also get the story published all over the world for thousands of years.

You on the other hand, were kicked out of heaven… don’t forget.

I think you’re doing well as a turtle for doing nothing.
    😎

    I don’t think you could handle a hare-m…….. since you can’t handle a Hare.

There’s a reason God created us, it is all written plain and direct in the Bible. He put us in a world of sin, yeah! but he also gave us Hope, Hope that we can live a sinless life even while living in a sinful world. The blood of Jesus Christ is also there. Everything we need as humans, all your questions….it is in the Holy Bible. Read about it and you’ll have an answer to all the questions or the burdens of your heart.

    Shalom
