The Nothingness of Nothing

You’ve come into the world with nothing and the purpose of your life is to make something out of nothing. Doing nothing is very hard to do, you never know when you’re finished. There’s nothing funny about happy people. I don’t know, you just look at a situation or a life, and you kind of pick the areas of conflict and delve there, because that’s where the story is. If someone has been married for 20 years, that’s great, but it’s not that funny. Now if you had two ex-wives, you see there’s already a story there.

I finally discovered what’s wrong with my brain. On the left side, there’s nothing right, and on the right side, there is nothing left. When you ask me what I am doing today and I say “nothing” it does not mean that I am free. It means I am doing nothing. Yesterday I did nothing, and today I’m finishing what I did yesterday. I have tried to know absolutely nothing about a great many things, and I have succeeded fairly well. The trouble with some women is that they get all excited about nothing, and then they marry him. And that’s why my brand advertisement of myself is “I will bore you to death.”

What’s the point of it all? Not to sound suicidal, but I don’t see the essence of life. All this stress and we end up dying one day. Why? Why did we even have to live in the first place? The big man up there put us in a world of sin to prove ourselves worthy of heaven when we could all just remain there and be singing hallelujah with Gabriel and the other Angels every day. I didn’t even ask to be here, why would you bring me here without my permission and force me to take care of myself after a certain period.

Honestly, I feel violated. Why did no one ask for my opinion before pushing me into existence? People usually say they want to be better in their next world. Or still, meet their families or friends. But I really don’t want a next world. I want to rest, please. Human existence is nothing but a Cosmic Joke; a long road that leads to nowhere. Life is full of suffering, sorrow, and then Death! As humans we have been brainwashed into living in a time that isn’t here, we all feel this way because we spend all our time.

Sometimes I fear my unborn kids will ask these questions. And I’d have no answer because I have the same questions in my head. Hence, I get skeptical about birthing children. “There has to be more to life,” says a man that’s only being here for about 280,000 years on a planet that’s 4.6 billion years, existing in a universe that’s 14 billion years old. I wonder if the dinosaurs had thoughts like these 65 million years ago before going extinct. There are a lot of unanswered questions.

Nothing matters. We are all cockroaches. Wildbeats dying by the river bank. Dog eat dog. Nothing we do has any lasting meaning. What we do lives and dies out with the people around us. Why bother making an impact? I have noticed that even people who claim everything is predetermined and that we can do nothing to change it look before they cross the road. Rabbits jump and they live for 8 years. Dogs run and they live for 15 years. Turtles do nothing and they live for 150 years.

  1. Hmm, this movie here, gives the very answer to your question. I can write it all down here but you understand more while watching it, and again your blog is just amazing and you really think it comes out of nothing huhh ! 🤷😄😄

      1. Hmm, it’s a good movie, a must watch may be. I got influenced too but it’s just that I tend to forget these good things in bad times. Which mess things up a lil for a while, days or months or may be years to make me remind how easy things are, 💁🤗

      1. True. As a child I used to have panic attacks about death and dying. Now i see it as being free from dealing with with world going to shit.
And as for having kids, i agree. I hate to think about what the future would be like for the generations to come.

  2. Cynical much! 😅 I read this the 1st time @ midnight when I think only my left brain was awake 😏 then this AM, I’m seeing all the tortoise and hare comments and I’m like, how did he get from nothing to tortoises and hares 🤔🤣 so I had to reread the whole thing! Aren’t you glad, that you’re just a simple human being with nothing to lose and everything to gain be it wealth or weight?! 🤣🤣🤣 I know I talk too much, G’day mate. And as always another great read 💯

  3. I know nothing! Nothing!

Maybe that’s why I’m still sane while the rest of the world has lost its marbles.

Bottom line: Never trust a planet that loses its playthings. (Especially marbles. Someone can slip and fall by stepping on marbles.)

  4. This is great! I sometimes wonder myself too what is the purpose of all this…and why we have to suffer so much. Why we get sick and loose close ones etc…I don’t even remember how it feels to be truly happy…It’s so many years ago since I really was…
