It’s the best being an underdog and coming out on top. I think everything I do tends to root for the underdog. In fact, I think everyone roots for the underdog. I wonder why that is. There’s a place in me that can really relate to being the underdog.
Never mind being an underdog, keep growing and prosper. Believe me when I say…being an underdog will either break you down or give you a reason to build! Life is more fun when you’re the underdog competing against the giants. Unless you’re a giant like me.

I’ve made a career out of being an underdog don’t underestimate me. I love being being an underdog, it makes me work just a bit harder. With but few exceptions, it is always the underdog who wins through sheer willpower. It helps being the underdog, no one expects you to win.
Everybody likes the underdog, because everybody feels like the underdog. No matter how successful you are, you always think, No one’s being nice enough to me. Underdogs never join the queue, we stand out from the crowd. The next time you’re boarding a flight, remember this valuable piece of information.
It’s harder to be funny if you’re handsome than if you’re very normal-looking. It’s just more relatable. You’re the underdog. You will never see a handsome funny guy. To be funny, your face has to look like the joke. But if you look handsome, you will be fine for the rest of your life. Just coasting on your handsomeness.
The best thing about being an underdog is knowing that the real prize in life becomes inner success. I never expect to lose. Even when I’m the underdog, I still prepare a victory speech. As an underdog, you have nothing to lose. No one expects you to win, except yourself.
I’m very competitive by nature. And I like to be the underdog – It’s the best way to win. To come from behind and win is a great feeling! I’m not poor, I’m just giving the rest of you a head start. The louder the dogs bark, the less the lion feels strengthened. Don’t just bark, bite that lion.

As a kid, I used to watch the Underdog cartoon, which was, of course, a parody of Superman. The hero, who was a mild-mannered beagle (or such) used to say, when he morphed into superhero mode, “There’s no need to fear! Underdog is here!”

Certain favorite films encourage me to cheer for the underdog. Sometimes it feels like I’m part of the story.
