Waiting for a Sign

Admit it, you’re waiting for something you know won’t happen. There is no sunrise so beautiful that is worth waking me up to see it. If you’re waiting for a sign, this is it. If you’re waiting for the moment, here it is. If you’re aiming for the heart then you can’t miss. Continue to apply pressure, she’ll soon block you.

Trying not to fall asleep because you’re expecting a text back from someone? Just go to bed. No one is worth losing sleep over. Also, you just might wake up to a good morning text with “sincere” apologies. Don’t buy those excuses. They were texting someone else who then slept off on them. It’s a vicious cycle.

The worst part of life is waiting. The best part of life is having someone to wait for. Unfortunately only one in seven people get to experience the latter. Wanted by many, taken by none. Looking at some, waiting for one. Don’t rush me, I’m waiting until the last minute. That adrenaline rush from doing things last minute usually hits like crack.

Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting. Funny how you can live a whole life waiting and not know it. Surely a response will come, you just have to wait patiently. And wait some more. And wait. Keep waiting. Dummy. Please wait here until you are useful. Thank you.

They say time is the solution to every problem. I’ve been waiting for five hours already and the room is still messy. Don’t call me lazy, lazy is such an ugly word. I prefer to call it selective participation. As it stands, I do deserve a vacation. You know it’s bad manners to keep a vacation waiting.

Patience is learned through waiting. They say abs are made in the kitchen. I’m just going to sit here and let the microwave do its job. I’m not in a hurry, I’ve got time. I’m an old man trapped in the body of a young man with an ambition. A young man without an ambition is an old man waiting to be.

One day I’m going to make onions cry. Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain. Ask yourself if what you’re doing today is getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow. The most important thing is to enjoy your life. Just wing it. Life, eyeliner. Everything. If you’re waiting for a sign

This is it
