Accomplished

I choose a lazy person to do a hard job. They will find an easy way to do it. Whatever you do, always give 100%. Unless you’re donating blood. Every worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph. A beginning, a struggle and a victory. 

The key to success is not through achievement but through enthusiasm. If A is success in life, then A is equal to X plus Y plus Z. Work is X, Y is play and Z is keeping your mouth shut. Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just keep standing there. 

For success, attitude is equally as important as ability. Rest assured that your recent accomplishments at work have gone largely unnoticed. Try not to become a person of success. But rather try to become a person of value. Become so pricy that you become priceless. 

You can’t wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club. The best way to appreciate your job is to imagine yourself without one. If you feel like you’ll be better off, then that’s your answer. My daily accomplishment is not saying what I’m thinking out loud. Because if I did…

Beat the 5’o clock rush. Leave work at noon. You can’t just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they’ll want something new. The key is to anticipate their needs before they even conceive them. And do the exact opposite.

You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough. To succeed in life, you need two things; ignorance and confidence. The problem is that having these things in isolation really makes you terrible to be around. If you can’t be kind, at least be vague. I didn’t give you the finger…
