King Mswati III of Swaziland (born as Prince Makhosetive on 19 April 1968) is the only surviving absolute Monarch in Africa. Crowned king of Swaziland on 25 April 1986 at the age of 18, he became the youngest ruling monarch in the world at the time.
Here is where it gets fun. He professes to be a Christian but is legally married to fifteen women. To be fair to him, he is miles behind his late fathers’ record of a hundred and twenty-five wives. Talk about giving King Solomon a run for his money. π
Interestingly, he also placed a ban on women below eighteen years of age from having sex, in a bid to mitigate the HIV pandemic in 2001. Just two months after he placed the ban, he violated it and guess what his fine was? A Cow. π
You have no choice but to love Africa.

Why in the world would anyone want more then one wife in the first place….(expect a barrage of hate mail for that comment). I guess if I’d had assumed a crown at such a young age, then the passionate fire of lust at that age would have caused havoc.
“If any person hasn’t completed ‘Lara Croft Tomb Raider’ by end of summer will have their games console confiscated”. There, thats one of my laws.

Haha, with great power comes great responsibility (a retinue of wives). It’s an unspoken rule.
I like the tomb raider law. People have to set their priorities straight ππ

A cow is valuable, so the fine is genuinely high.

in my next kingdom i think i don’t want too many husbands. definitely less than a football team because if I am the number needed to play … I risk being only 3 times a week for the games in progress. π€

You want the photo of the accountant of my kingdom with the two spherical ends … er … tied with a silk thread to the paw of the sloth in the garden? (do not ask questions, I cannot violate the privacy of a collaborator who must be remembered from time to time for those who work …) π€π

You might be wrong about the effect of buying a cow on his pocket. I know a country where it’s believed that cow’s lives matter more than human lives…
