What Happened To Men

I miss the old days when men were men, and were married to women deserving of them. Men went from commanding armies and destroying civilizations to “I slept on the couch because my wife was angry with me.” In their own house! Pathetic to say the least. If she says she’s taken, it’s probably for granted.

Since when do men have feelings? Real men don’t have feelings. If you’ve grown feelings as a man, the onus is on you to ensure that your feelings are never hurt again. Men solve problems, they don’t dwell on them. Next time you feel a tug in your chest, drown it with a glass of water like a real man.

Real men have audacity. Ladies, ever wondered what happened to that man who got your number and never called? He was probably not interested as such. Men can approach women merely for the adrenaline. To know if they still exude charm and chivalry. To see if he still has “game”. He was just doing it for his ego.

A man is what he thinks about all day long. For some, it’s money. For some others, it’s the shape of a particular lady. And they wonder why they don’t get any work done. Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing ever happened. Yes, I’m talking to you.

What happened to the manliest man among manly men? He turned out to be a woeful, wimpy, wet dishcloth. I see men tell women that they feel lucky to exist in the same reality as them. How did we get here? Make no mistake brothers, men are the prize. Real men don’t fall in love, they decide to love.

Some men never heal from the death of their mothers. The purpose of most men is to make their mothers proud. Never dare a man without a mother. He has faced one of the biggest fears any man will ever face in life. That man will take on any opponent and never shy away from battle. Even if the opponent is his wife.

Being a ‘good man’ is something you do, not something you are. A wise man changes his mind, a fool never will. Stop thanking women for being in your life. It’s disgraceful to even suggest. What kind of dirt does she have on you that makes you so comfortable to look whipped in the full glare of the public eye?

  1. Okay, I’ll just make sure my husband doesn’t read this.. he’ll be like “hell, honey, I’ve never fallen in love with you 🫣 I just decided to love.”
    Yeh, men are GREAT when it comes to decision making.. guess choosing me as his wife was a decision too 🤔😂

  4. I respect him when he keep up the value for her. 100% each of them have their own powers, values n respects but nothing is like old golden days. The world is missing the trend of being man as a man n woman as a woman. Families have no pride due to uncompromised Egos of both of course. Loved the concept but it’s unending if we start writing. Have a great week ahead dear Man ✍ 🥰

  10. Haha.. this is a good one. I agree with you though. There is a new breed of men with lots of feelings and attachment. Not all men though, some of us still stuck to our roots😄.

    You couldn’t have said it any better on moving on after loosing our mothers. I lost mine in 2018. It was tough and rough but it also shaped me. I can deal with a lot more of what the world has to throw at me now
