Being a Teenager

Do you blow on your food when it’s hot or do you just “hasafashafsas” until you can chew it? If you belong to the second group, you know what you are. When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years.

A teenager is always too tired to hold a dishcloth but never too tired to hold a phone. Teenage is the period where you discover whether you like water or not. Some of you were kept indoors for so long as teenagers, you started to believe the lie that you are introverted.

Parenting is tough. When your child is little, all you want is for them to play alone in their room for an hour so you can have some peace and quiet. Then they become teenagers and all you want is for them to come out of their room for an hour and actually talk to you.

If you sleep too much, your parents will complain. Don’t get enough sleep, your parents will complain. If you eat too much, your parents will complain. If you don’t eat enough, your parents will complain. if you’re always in your room, your parents will complain. If you go out too much, your parents will complain. You can’t win!

A teenager is someone ready for a zombie apocalypse but not ready for a math test tomorrow. Teenagers are the most misunderstood people on the planet. They are treated like children and expected to act like adults. The main problem with teenagers is that they’re just like their parents were at that age.

Raising a teenager is hard. But being a teenager is hard too which is why our kids need someone they trust to lean on, to come for advice and to share their lives – the good, the bad and the ugly. Having a front-row seat in our kids’ lives is a far better place than every other seat. Except for a seat at the dentists’, it’s unmatched.

I know I’m supposed to be preparing my teenager for life and all, but it’s hard when they already know everything. Teenagers! Tired of being harassed by your parents? Act now! Move out, get a job and pay your way, quick! While you still know everything.

You will live to regret this decision

  1. For the fact that I’m indoors, I’m a social media extrovert😂😂😂… Yes, everyone wants to talk to me online but, guess the person behind the phone: a scruffy looking teenager😂💔
