The first rule of law, if you can’t convince them, confuse them. Ideally, you shouldn’t judge people. Especially if you don’t have a law degree. The laws governed people’s happiness. To be lawless was to be happy. But perpetual happiness might be a disease to mankind.
It depends. Is the answer to every question posed in law school and in life as well. A good lawyer is a bad neighbor. When people lack teachers, their tendencies are not corrected. When they speak, you can accurately predict the number of years of neglect responsible.
Lawlessness is the new normal. It is now seen as being smart, and wise to circumvent the law to your advantage. If you try to do the right thing nowadays, you run the risk of getting mocked. People shame you for standing upright because it’s now easier to be a fraud.
Dear Mother-In-Law, never tell me how to handle my children. I live with one of yours, and she needs a lot of improvement. I appreciate the delayed umbilical cord clamping over your daughter but it’s been 25 years, can you cut it off? It’s not me, it’s you, actually, it’s your mom.
Fear is good. Without the fear, all of us are as good as dead. Religion and governments combine to keep humanity sane. Without them two, society would have never evolved beyond dog eat dog. Imagine you took away the hope that religion gives, anarchy will loom!
You never run out of things that can go wrong. Even rock bottom has a basement. That thing that you’re experiencing and you think the worst of it has passed, you haven’t seen anything yet. If you ever feel useless, think about students studying law in a lawless country.
Don’t raise your voice. Improve your argument.
