I don’t like the fact that the chances of survival seem to be linked to the common sense of others. So there’s a loud bang and due to panic, you’ve all taken off in different directions with some running right into the heart of the danger. Now there’s less of us left to fight.
Survive now. Cry later. Funny that survival might hinge on being stupider than your enemy. The logical thing to do is wait in your homes until the attackers get to your location, but you know what they’re not expecting? For you to take up arms and come find them in the forest.

Never underestimate the power of a long hug. We need four hugs daily for survival. We also need eight hugs weekly for maintenance. Lastly, we need two deep hugs every month for growth. Now, going by my analysis, I believe it’s becoming clearer why you’re this short.
To live is to suffer, to survive is to find some meaning in the suffering. Survival requires scars, may not be bodily but are otherwise etched in your mind. Scars are not a sign of weakness, they are signs of survival and endurance. That’s why Mufasa had to die.
I think it’s unfair that people will question your parenting but won’t say a peep about your child, childing. Sometimes you have to extend an olive branch to absent fathers. Some of the kids I see these days are really bad vibes. There’s no way heaven was involved in this batch.
Last week was rough, but I’m optimistic about this week. The positive note going ahead is that I don’t need any bail money, and I don’t have any bodies to hide, yet. Humor is the best means of surviving this difficult world. You don’t get any points by being deliberately obtuse.
If you can’t be kind, at least be vague.

I’m going to start giving kids childing scores. That way the struggling parents will have someone to blame.
Thanks for this interesting suggestion.

No wonder I’ve been feeling a little tired lately, I must be running on a serious hug deficit. 😂
I also agree that survival leaves scars. As unfortunate as that is, they’re often proof that we’ve kept going.
And about Mufasa… I’m reluctantly beginning to understand why he had to die. Not because I like it (I still haven’t recovered 😭), but because some stories require loss before growth.
Thanks for another thoughtful and hilarious read. God bless you!
