Investing is a journey of self discovery. It reveals your relationship with money, tolerance for risk, and ability to stay disciplined in the face of uncertainty. Successful investing is about managing risk not avoiding it. Money isn’t everything but it sure keeps people in touch.
In investing, what is comfortable is rarely profitable. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose, until you lose. In any investment, you expect to have fun and make money. If you win, you make money. If you lose, at least you get to have some fun whilst losing your hard earned money.
The stock market is the place where the patient make money from the impatient. One funny thing about the stock market is that every time one person buys, another sells, and both think they are astute. And they’re both wrong because you exist, without any stocks.
There is no finer investment for any community than putting milk into babies. You would be surprised how you can drastically lower the crime rate of an area by ensuring all the children are fed properly with protein options. Kwashiorkor leads to cultism and stealing.
At a certain point, money is meaningless. It ceases to be the goal. The game is what counts. Go for a business shy idiot can run because sooner or later, any idiot is probably going to run it. Work hard, ensure and do everything in your power to be the first idiot to do it.
You’ll understand why they call it an “untapped market”.
